Last month, most of the defunct band jammed live. Now, singer-bassist Gordon has upped the ante with this swell sophomore solo CD. Not only are his nimble playing, breezy vocals and whimsical songcraft present and accounted for -- so are old pals Trey Anastasio and Page McConnell (among other guests). Cue the reunion-tour buzz.
